Please check our social media accounts for timely updates to the current situation regarding tours. At the moment, all tour dates for Omens have been postponed until further notice. Stay safe out there.
Omens is our most complete work to date: a set of songs that express the breadth of the band’s collective influences. Integrating the floating, textured jams of last year’s “The Gold & Silver Sessions” into our evolving heavy progressive sound has yielded another expansion of the Elder sound. We’re very proud of this record and can’t wait to share it with you all!
Additionally, we’re excited to share some of the many tour dates we have planned for 2020. Our first of two North American tours will be with Bask, who recently released their fantastic third LP.
More tour dates, artwork, presale info and some MUSIC will be released in the coming weeks – check back soon!

“The most up-to-date news” might have been an overstatement, but anyhow we’re going to try to actually write something here once in a while.
In between two legs of an extensive European tour we dropped by Big Snuff Studio in Berlin to record a few more-or-less improvised jams we’ve been meditating on for a little while. The finished product will be the first record in a subscription vinyl series called Postwax by Blues Funeral Records. We’ve been wanting to do something out-of-the-box for a while now and had fun playing some instrumental, spacey music with less structure than normal. That record will be out in February of 2019, with a normal, non-subscription version to follow sometime later.
While winter descends over us, everyone has receded back to their respective corners of the globe to nurse their existential hangovers and get ready for the next run of shows in the spring and summer. We’ll have a few appearances on the US West Coast in April before playing the first ever Desertfest NYC at the end of the month, then returning to Europe to tour from Scandinavia down through Eastern Europe. In the meantime, it’s back to writing sessions to wrap up LP #5, which we’re tentatively planning on recording in the summer. That’s all for now, folks…
It’s already been almost a week since we released our fourth album and the response has been incredible. If you haven’t heard the album yet, swing on over to our Bandcamp and stream it now!
10 years as a band and we’re finally entering the 22nd century with a bang – our very own website! Check here for the most up-to-date news, tour dates and other rumblings from our collective minds. And what better time to start administrating a website, as we’ve got a lot going on…
Our fourth album, “Reflections of a Floating World” is out on June 2nd via Stickman Records (EU/World) and Armageddon Shop (North America). You can still preorder the album at the Stickman Records webstore or the Armageddon Shop bigcartel site, as well as digitally at our very own Bandcamp site.
To support the album we’ll be taking off on a European tour in July followed by a North American run in October. It’s been a few years since we did anything extensive in the States and we’ll probably be doing another before too long. Check back for more tour updates in the future!
